12 CUBES ON MARS - HABATAT

Over the last two years, I‘ve been thinking about the various missions to Mars, and the role that art might play in securing support for Mars settlement...

The result of all these influences is my latest glass sculpture:   “12 Cubes on Mars - Habitat”.  

It ‘s cast didymium glass, 24 x 24 x 8 inches and weighs about 160 pounds.  I wanted to exhibit it on my website JBWoodGlass.com, and in Michigan later this year and next.  Hopefully it brings increased awareness of, and support for, Space X -- and all the Mars Missions.

Remember:  Two planets for mankind are so much better than one!
