HORIZON SERIES 2008-2009
INTRODUCTION
During my CCS years, I was introduced to a number of classic twentieth century American Artists, among them Mark Rothko. This series was inspired by his paintings -- I wanted to see what I could do with his extraordinary visual concepts, but rendered in glass sculpture. I hoped that the interior dimension of glass would allow yet another window on the work of this exceptional artist.
